After the tension arose over the India-Pakistan Border, the IPL 2025 has seen an unexpected pause. The tournament is now suspended for a week, as the nation grapples with the escalating situation.

Amidst this, RCB has taken a big step. With two home matches against SRH and KKR now cancelled, theyโ€™re offering full refunds to ticket holders.

RCB Steps Up With Refunds For The Ticket Holders

Amid the nationwide unrest due to the border tension between India and Pakistan, the IPL 2025 faced a week-long suspension. While some cities remain distant from the turmoil, the unpredictability of the unrest poses a risk to both players and fans alike.

M. Chinnaswamy Stadium was all set to hold two home clashes on May 13 and 17th against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Kolkata Knight Riders. Post suspension of the tournament, RCB is all set to refund the ticket price of both matches. On their social media handle, they gave brief information about the process.

According to the franchise, the full refund will be processed for both matches, subject to the terms and conditions. Fans with physical tickets are advised to keep them safe, while digital ticket holders will get refund details directly via email or phone.


Will IPL 2025 Stay In India Or Is A Big Shift On The Horizon?

After the IPL 2021, the tournament faced another unexpected pause this year. Putting the nation first, the tournament faced a suspension. If the situation deteriorates, reports suggest the tournament might move abroad. However, the BCCI appears determined to keep the remaining part of the tournament within India, likely shifting the action to the southern region.

As per the recent reports, BCCI officials are keenly cautious about hosting the tournament even in the later part of the year. With further delays raising doubts over overseas players' availability, the board is eyeing Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad as potential venues to wrap up the remaining action.
