India's explosive finisher Rinku Singh was involved in a hilarious banter with experienced batter Suryakumar Yadav ahead of the upcoming three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. 

Recently, India appointed Suryakumar Yadav as their new T20I captain following Rohit Sharma's retirement from the format. 

Furthermore, Gautam Gambhir's coaching stint also begins with the tour, with India facing the Lankan Lions in three T20Is later this month.

Meanwhile, Rinku Singh was involved in a hilarious conversation with India's recently appointed T20I captain, Suryakumar Yadav. 

Regarded as India's Mr 360, Suryakumar posted a picture of himself having conversation with Rinku after the Indian team reached Sri Lanka for the tour. 

He had an interesting caption, as he wrote, "Theek hai bat le lena." Rinku responded with an interesting reply, "De do bhaiya bat". 

It's worth mentioning that Rinku had earlier asked Virat Kohli for a bat during the IPL 2024. The swashbuckling middle-order batter has been an integral part of India's T20I team, amassing 416 runs in 15 innings. 

However, despite performing consistently, Rinku unfortunately missed out on a T20 World Cup selection, participating in the marquee event as a travelling reserve. 

So, after regaining his mojo in the Zimbabwe T20Is, the left-handed batter would be keen to showcase his mettle in the Sri Lanka series.
