The series is well poised at 2-1 in favour of England, as the caravan will now move to Kennington Oval, where the two teams will battle it out in the series decider match. 

England will fight to win, while India have a task on their hand to level the series. The hosts were on the brink of a win in the Manchester Test, but Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar refused to give up, and their 203-run stand helped India snatch a draw out of the jaws of a defeat. 

Jadeja's Act Irked Ben Stokes

Further, in the last hour of play, Stokes offered a draw to Jadeja and Co., but the southpaw refused. Jadeja and Sundar completed their hundreds and then accepted the offer to end the match in a draw. Further, Sundar too had rejected Brook's offer and waited to complete his century. 

However, Stokes was irked by Jadeja's act, and there were reports that after the conclusion of the match, the England captain refused to shake hands with the two southpaws. 

Did Ben Stokes Refuse To Shake Hands With Jadeja And Sundar?

For the unversed, a video went viral, where Stokes turned his back as soon as Jadeja and Sundar approached him, which led to the fans thinking that there is animosity and things are not well between Stokes and Jadeja. 

However, a fan present in Manchester on Day 5 shared a video that shows that Stokes indeed did shake hands with Jadeja and Sundar. In fact, Stokes was the first one to go to the Indian stars to shake their hands.

Also, Stokes broke the silence on the matter following the conclusion of Day 5 and praised Sundar and Jadeja for their contribution.
