BCCI Unveils India's Schedule For Big Home Series Against England & Australia

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have released the entire schedule for India Women’s upcoming home series against their English and Australian counterparts.

While the England team is slated to tour India in December 2023 for a three-match T20I series and a one-off Test match, the ‘Women in Blue’ will subsequently host Australia until January 2024 across all formats.

BCCI announces hectic home schedule for India Women’s team

The India Women’s team, for their 2023-24 international home season, will be hosting England and Australian teams across two different venues in Mumbai.

For starters, the ‘Women in Blue’, to be helmed by charismatic Harmanpreet Kaur in all likelihood, will engage in a three-match T20I tussle with England before going up against them in a Test match at DY Patil’s Navi Mumbai Stadium.

Barely four days after the conclusion of the planned India vs England Test match, the hosts will shift their attention to face Australia for a four-day Test at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The iconic venue will also stage a three-match ODI series between the two sides, before both teams will take refuge near the DY Patil Stadium for T20I action.
