Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav is on the verge of topping an elite list of batters featuring the likes of Babar Azam and former T20I skipper Rohit Sharma. Regarded for his scintillating stroke play, Suryakumar will lead India in the upcoming five-match series against the Englishmen. 

Can Suryakumar Eclipse Babar, Rohit On 'This' List? 

Suryakumar Yadav has been the backbone of India's batting unit in T20Is. The swashbuckling middle-order batter has amassed 2570 runs at an average of 40.8 and a strike rate of 167.9. The 34-year-old has been a prolific performer at home and will play a significant role in the upcoming T20I series against England. 

Interestingly, Suryakumar Yadav has struck one T20I hundred against England and can go past the likes of Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam, who also have one century versus the Three Lions in the shortest format. 

Thus, Surya, who has the knack for playing blistering knocks in T20Is, has a golden opportunity to break Rohit and Babar's record and become the first-ever player to slam two T20I hundreds against England if he manages one century in the five-match series. Considering most of the matches will be played on batting-friendly tracks, it won't be surprising if India's Mr 360 achieves the phenomenal landmark.
