Ever since they arrived in India, Pakistan have been stationed in Hyderabad, and continuously been treated to a resounding welcome.

The Babar Azam-led side will finally depart from the city, having completed their Hyderabad leg of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, having played two warm-ups and the first two matches against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka.

On Tuesday, after bringing up the highest-ever chase in World Cup history, Azam gifted Team Pakistan's jersey to the groundsmen of the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium as a token of appreciation for the hospitality shown by HCA.

Apart from Azam, other players like Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hasan Ali, and Mohammad Rizwan greeted the groundsmen and took pictures with them.

Pakistan suffered only two losses and as many wins during they stay in Hyderabad, which include wins over Netherlands and Sri Lanka in the main draw of WC 2023.

Pakistan will now travel to Ahmedabad for their high-profile clash against hosts India on October 14, which will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Owing to threats, the stadium is likely to be converted into a fortress with agencies deploying extra security personnel.

Team Pakistan will then travel to multiple cities including Chennai, Bangalore, and Kolkata for the remainder of their World Cup 2023 group matches.

Currently, Pakistan are placed second in the points table, with two wins from as many matches, and just behind New Zealand on net run-rate.
