One of the best domestic competitions in Ireland, the 2022 edition of Arachas Super Series, commenced on May 1 as three teams faces off against each other, namely, the Scorchers, Typhoons, and Dragons.
This tournament is one of the best in Irish cricket at domestic level, aiding in the identification of players who can represent the country in the future.
Due to the constraints and rules of COVID-19, the competition has only seen two teams in recent years, but this year there will be three teams competing, making the tournament more exciting.

History:
Previously known as the Women’s Super 3, The Dragons, Scorchers, and Typhoons were the first three teams to compete in the event, which debuted in 2015 as a 50-over and Twenty20 tournament.
The series was reduced to two teams in 2020, and just a single 50-over format was used. It was then separated into 50-over and T20 competitions in 2021. The competition will return to a three-team format in 2022.
The Scorchers have won four titles, the Dragons three, and the Typhoons one. Scorchers, led by Gaby Lewis, are the defending champions.
