The IPL 2025 auction was an event of great importance for the next edition of the tournament. During the two day event all the teams gave their best to recruit the best players for their teams. Jos Buttler has been sold for INR 15.75 Cr to GT. With his ability bat under pressure and change the complexion of the games, the English batter will be the first opener of this team.  Along with Buttler, the second opener of this team could be KL Rahul  who was sold for INR 14 Cr to the Delhi Capitals.

The costliest player of the IPL 2025 auction, Rishabh Pant was sold at a price of INR 27 Cr. His match winning abilities make him a great presence in the middle order of this team. Besides, Pant can also be the wicketkeeper in this playing 12.

Marcus Stoinis was bought by INR 11 Cr by the Punjab Kings during the IPL 2025 auction. The Australian all-rounder is a match winner with both of his trades. Stoinis can bat in the middle and lower middle-order and adapt his batting to the situation of the game to seize the momentum in his team's favour. 

Jitesh Sharma went for INR 11 Cr during the IPL 2025 mega auction to RCB. The young Indian batter has proven himself as a good finisher in the T20 format. He slots in perfectly at the number six or number seven spot in this team.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was one of the costliest bowlers to be sold during the IPL 2025 auction. He was bought for INR 10.75 Cr by RCB during the event. He has proven himself as a skilled bowler in both powerplays and the death overs. Because of the versatility in his bowling, Bhuvneswar Kumar becomes a part of this playing XI.

Noor Ahmad was the costliest buy for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025 auction. The  Afghan left-arm wrist spinner will be a very effective bowler in the middle overs with his ability to bowl economically and pick up wickets in regular tandems. This 10 Cr buy for the CSK earns a place in this playing 12.

Yuzvendra Chahal was sold for INR 18 Cr to the Punjab Kings. This Indian wrist spinner is known for his abilities to pick up wickets in the middle overs. The Chahal and Noor Ahmad combination could be a deadly in the middle overs. 

Arshdeep Singh was the first player to go under the hammer during the IPL 2025 auction. The left-arm pacer was sold for INR 18 Cr. This Indian bowler has the expertise to bowl in the death overs and be very useful to the team's cause, therefore he gets a chance to be a part of this playing 12.
