Stallions (AST) and Panthers (LCP) will commence their Pakistan Champions T20 Cup 2024 campaign with a match against each other on Saturday, December 7 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. A part of the double-header on the opening day of the competition, the action will commence from 4:00 PM IST onwards.

Stallions-PAK

Back in September this year, the Stallions lost to Lions in the Eliminator of the Champions One-Day Cup in Pakistan. Nonetheless, the team’s T20 composition comprises of several potential match-winners in the form of dashing opener Yasir Khan, wicketkeeper Azam Khan, all-rounder Hussain Talat and captain Mohammad Haris himself. The Stallions line-up will also be bolstered with the presence of legendary all-rounder and former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik.

Panthers-PAK

The Panthers team won the Champions One-Day Cup 2024 season back in September. Under the leadership of charismatic all-rounder Shadab Khan, the Panthers will be aiming to translate their 50-overs success into PCB’s latest T20 initiative. Captain Shadab has the likes of several Pakistan internationals Sajid Khan, Haider Ali and domestic veteran Umar Siddiq at his disposal.

Prominent T20 freelancer Azam Khan has played 173 matches in his career, including 14 internationals for Pakistan. The 26-year-old has so far tallied over 3,000 runs with the bat at a strike rate of nearly 150.

Hussain Talat

Pakistan all-rounder Hussain Talat holds significant T20 and PSL experience. A veteran of 169 T20 caps, Talat has hauled more than 3,000 runs and has also collected 58 wickets in the process through his pace bowling.

Zaman Khan

Stallions fast bowler Zaman Khan has picked up 125 T20 wickets in just 99 matches, at an average of 23.36. Apart from his wicket-taking abilities, Khan also tends to dry up the opposition runs, especially in the middle overs.

Panthers

Haider Ali

Attacking middle-order batter Haider Ali has made 2,560 runs in 130 T20 innings. The cricketer also notched up a swift match-winning knock against UAE for the Shaheens a few weeks ago in Oman.

Sajid Khan

Having started out as a red-ball specialist in Pakistan, star all-rounder Sajid Khan is swiftly transitioning his reputation into a potential all-format player. Apart from sending down cunning off-breaks, Sajid is also capable of launching some big hits with the bat in the middle and death overs, as evidenced by his performance against England in home Tests.

Shadab Khan

Panthers captain Shadab Khan led his team to victory at the Champions One-Day Cup earlier this year. Apart from demonstrating some astute leadership skills, the 26-year-old all-rounder has gathered a legion of batting and bowling experience across his 298 T20 appearances, tallying over 3,000 runs and harvesting 326 wickets in the process.

Hasan Ali

Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has collected over 250 T20 wickets in just 189 matches at an impressive bowling average of 21.88.
